Description:
The Grange is a fraternal organization involved in community work. Holds seven suppers yearly, the first Saturday of the month, open to all. Membership is open to all family members by vote, with parental permission. Meets at 7:30 on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, September through June. Elections are held every June. Dues are $13 per year. Annual fee is $15.

Bethlehem Youth Court
Description:
Bethlehem Youth Court is a voluntary alternative to the criminal justice system for young people. Its goal is to intervene in early antisocial and criminal behavior of offenders and also to offer law-related education and training for youth who become members. 
Bethlehem Youth Court provides sentencing hearings for low-level, first-time youthful offenders. Trained members of the Youth Court perform all the functions of the hearing: prosecutor, defender, judge, jury foreperson, court clerk. Random youth from the towns of Bethlehem, Ravena and Selkirk volunteer to perform jury duty and then determine the sentence that the offender will be assigned. Capital District Construction Career Days
Description:
The Capital District Construction Career Days is a joint program pulled together by the Federal Highway Admin., Department of Transportation, Dormitory Authority, General Building Contractors of NYS, Associated General Contractors of NYS, NYS Labor Unions and many others to show high school age kids the aspects and potential that exists within the Construction Industry. Students are given a chance to work on heavy equipment, talk with employers, colleges and experience first hand what it takes to succeed in construction. The event is held at the Glenmont Job Corp.

The Fresh Air Fund
Description:
Open your heart and your home and host a Fresh Air Fund child from New York City for one or two weeks this summer! Our Bethlehem host families tell us they receive more from the experience than they give, sharing things that most of take for granted, but are new to an inner city child - walking barefoot in the grass, seeing a horse or cow, picking berries. There are no special requirements for hosting a child, and no cost to you. All children and host families are covered by insurance.
