Before you call: 
  1. Discuss the possibility of volunteering with your family. Consider your availability, vacation plans, commitment required, transportation, etc. 
  2. Look for opportunities that are appropriate and appealing to you.

If you can give at least 6 hours of your time this summer, then train as a Youth Service Library Volunteer. Three two-hour shifts in any of the following jobs: program assistant, book sharing with children, children's room desk or page assistant, host/hostess for reading club final party, evening assistant or be "on call" for extra help. Helping neighbors is what Caregiver Kids is all about and we make it FUN!! Tell us what you like to do and we'll find someone who needs your talents and your time.
